Description We are looking for an experienced Tax Accountant to join our team in Hollywood, Florida. In this role, you will apply your expertise in tax preparation and compliance to manage a variety of tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients. Responsibilities: - Prepare and file accurate individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns in compliance with federal and state regulations. - Analyze financial data to identify tax-saving opportunities and minimize liabilities for clients. - Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation and provide guidance on tax-related matters. - Conduct thorough reviews of tax filings to ensure accuracy and completeness. - Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to provide informed advice to clients. - Assist in resolving tax-related issues and liaise with tax authorities as needed. - Develop and implement strategies to optimize tax processes and improve efficiency. - Provide detailed reports and documentation for tax audits and reviews. - Maintain organized records of tax filings and client communications. - Support the team with additional accounting tasks as required. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Current Enrolled Agent (EA) certification, with preference for candidates holding additional relevant designations. - Proven experience in preparing individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns. - Strong understanding of federal and state tax laws and regulations. - Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. - Proficiency in tax preparation software and related tools. - Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
